Which isnt always the case. So people shouldnt reality on this. I mean great if it does happen but move on instead of waiting

Dylan wouldn't even give Kelly a second look when Brenda was around. The moment Brenda was gone, suddenly Dylan finds himself with Kelly. Kelly was always the runner up. When I was young I really did't like the role of Dylan and it is still like this. Self-centered, I thouthg that the only people he loved was himself, not Brenda, not Kelly.

After which, he was bumming two more years around Europe and elsewhere, feeling no leading to come back to Brenda, and then he headed back to the US. The screen play authors must have had something special on their minds to deliver, something much deeper than most of the people had built in their minds. The B&D vs K&D idea is just too simple, too boring. The picture is much more complicated than that, and interesting too. Mr. Spelling and his writers must have been pretty deep-thinkers. They have been carefully displaying various markers here and there showing how important K&D ties have been all along. I.e., that K&D conversation that took place one night on an old kids playground explains a lot ("the soul mates, we are"). But, even some small fragments can point to something, i.e., about D's tinkering around his bike, on which K has been wilful to ride on with D, whereas B expressed how she hated riding on a bike. B has played an important part in his life being she witnessed him in his moist vulnerable moments of life. K has not. For that reason, B knew how to find the proper words to him when his father was killed in that blast. K was running back and forth, messed up with "what can I do/if I could ever do anything to help you/I am not going to the funeral". If it was not for Donna who mentioned to K how weird her behaviour looked... Obviously, S5E1 thru E10 were where he needed Brenda the most badly. He suffered because of her staying in London for the entire year, not coming back by Sept as she had promised. She could have saved him from dropping down to the d*g pit. Valery could have played a major role in that stage of his life, had she realized how much he needed what she would give to him now and then. V was just having a big time. D fell for her. He was jealous about her, though he has been dumping a "no obligations" shit to her. She should have known better than to be whoring around.
